Laserfiche is a scalable and integrated product suite for document imaging, document management, business process management and records management.

The core Laserfiche product includes document capture and image enhancement, storage and archiving for documents and unstructured information, easy-to-use document organization tools, annotation and metadata features, search and retrieval, collaboration and content distribution, and extensive security controls.

Basic Laserfiche functionality can be expanded with additional Laserfiche product modules, including records management tools; Web distribution via Web Access and WebLink; business process management via Workflow, Agenda Manager and Quick Fields; and personal portal functionality with the Laserfiche SharePoint integration. In addition, the Laserfiche SDK provides the resources necessary to customize your implementation of Laserfiche and create integrations with third-party applications.

To simplify system administration, the Laserfiche product suite is built on top of Microsoft technologies. Email Manager from CMA offers seamless, one-click integration between Microsoft Outlook and Laserfiche document management software, especially for financial services and law firms.

This integration makes it simple for Laserfiche users to manage email and attachments just like any other electronic document.

From within Outlook, users can quickly and automatically classify, track, archive, and search email and attachments with indexing values defined within Laserfiche. And with “tag-once” classification, Outlook users just need to tag one email and both preceding and subsequent emails are automatically archived within Laserfiche. In this way, users don’t have to manually tag every email, which minimizes mistakes and missing documentation.

PlanetPress enables you to create new or enhance existing business documents. Images, dynamic graphics, data from print streams, databases, XML files or any other text based format stored anywhere, can be read by PlanetPress and easily mapped onto a document.

Documents created with PlanetPress Suite can be printed, archived (via a built in Laserfiche connector), emailed, faxed and/or pushed to cloud for tablet presentment as part of a sophisticated output management application driven by PlanetPress workflow tools.
